An insightful discussion, sponsored by UJE, took place in Kyiv at the YES Annual Meeting on the topic \u201cAntisemitism in Ukraine: Russian Disinformation and On-the-Ground Reality\u201d on 14 September 2018. Participants spoke on a wide array of related issues, ranging from analyses of recent studies that show Ukraine has one of the lowest rates of antisemitism<\/a> in Europe, to tactics used by the Kremlin to discredit Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The participants of this engaging panel were some of the most prominent minds engaged in Ukrainian-Jewish relations and issues related to Ukraine. They included John Herbst, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, who is now director of The Atlantic Council\u2019s Eurasia Center; Bernard-Henry Levy, philosopher and author; Vyacheslav Likhachev, historian, journalist, political scientist and social activist; Vladyslav Davidzon, journalist and editor of The Odessa Review<\/em>; Berel Rodal, Board Member and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter; and Adrian Karatnycky, UJE\u2019s Co-Director. Mr. Karatnycky moderated the event.<\/p>\n
