The volumes were part of a larger exhibit of Ukraine-related books displayed at a booth hosted by Harvard University\u2019s Ukrainian Research Institute.<\/p>\n<p>UJE\u2019s display included three award-winning books and one that is part of a renowned long-running series dedicated to the study of Jews and Slavs. Together, these works represent the wide-range of academic study the UJE supports dedicated to Ukrainian-Jewish relations. All of the publications displayed have been published in both the English and Ukrainian languages.<\/p>\n<p>The volumes conference attendees had an opportunity to become better acquainted with were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>A Journey Through the Ukrainian-Jewish Encounter: From Antiquity to 1914<\/em>, authored by UJE co-director Alti Rodal. The book, based on a 2015 traveling exhibition, was awarded <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/en\/uje-at-the-5th-triennial-all-ukrainian-museum-festival-in-dnipro\/\">First Prize<\/a> for museum exhibit catalogues at the 5th Triennial All-Ukrainian Museum Festival that took place in Dnipro, Ukraine from 18-24 September 2018. The book is currently available in electronic formats on the UJE website. The English-language PDF file is available in <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/media\/UJE_book_readerspreads_Eng.pdf\">reader spreads<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/media\/UJE_book_Single_Eng.pdf\">single pages<\/a>. The Ukrainian-language PDF file is available in <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/media\/UJE_book_readerspreads_UA.pdf\">reader spreads<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/media\/UJE_book_Single_UA.pdf\">single pages.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\u201c<em>Babyn Yar: History and Memory<\/em>, edited by Paul Robert Magocsi, UJE board member, and Vladislav Hrynevych, Sr., a member of UJE\u2019s academic council. The book was named one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/en\/uje-supported-book-wins-award-lviv\/\">best books<\/a> of the Lviv Book Forum in September 2017. The book is available in the Ukrainian language from its publisher, Dukh i Litera. \u00a0The English-language version is available in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Babyn-Yar-Vladyslav-Hrynevych-ebook\/dp\/B01N2G9YCY#reader_B01N2G9YCY\">Kindle edition<\/a> on Amazon.<\/li>\n<li><em>Jews and Ukrainians: A Millennium of Co-Existence<\/em>, co-authored by UJE board member Paul Robert Magocsi and Yohanan Petrovsky Shtern, who is a member of UJE\u2019s academic council. The book won <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/en\/ukrainian-jewish-encounter-lviv-book-forum\/\">special recognition<\/a> at the 2016 Lviv Book Forum. The English-language version is available through the <a href=\"https:\/\/utorontopress.com\/ca\/jews-and-ukrainians-1\">University of Toronto Press<\/a>.\u00a0 The book\u2019s Ukrainian-language version can be obtained through <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/en\/contact-us\/\">UJE\u2019s Kyiv office<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><em>The Ukrainian-Jewish Encounter: Cultural Dimensions, <\/em>edited by UJE board member Wolf Moskovich and UJE co-director Alti Rodal<em>. <\/em>The book is the 25<sup>th<\/sup> volume of Hebrew University\u2019s renowned Jews and Slavs series, whose long-time editor is Moskovich<em>.<\/em>The English-language book can be acquired by contacting him at <a href=\"mailto:wmoskovich@gmail.com\">wmoskovich@gmail.com<\/a><em>. <\/em>The Ukrainian-language version is available through <a href=\"http:\/\/ukrainianjewishencounter.org\/en\/contact-us\/\">UJE\u2019s Kyiv office<\/a><em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Established in 1948, ASEEES is the world\u2019s leading organization dedicated to advancing the knowledge of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Russia.
