Thanks to the longstanding cooperation between the Ukrainian office of the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter and the Polish Cultural and Educational Center at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, familiarization meetings were held between the UJE and the faculty and students of Poland's main universities in Warsaw and Pozna\u0144.<\/p>\n

On 20\u201321 February 2023 Ihor Kryvosheia, head of the Polish Cultural and Educational Center, who was in Poland on official business, presented books published with UJE support, as well special UJE Ukrainian embroidered shirts (vyshyvankas<\/em>), to his Polish colleagues.<\/p>\n

The following individuals received gifts: Robert Sucharski, dean of the University of Warsaw's Institute for Intedisciplinary Studies \"Artes Liberales\"; Tadeusz Epstein, professor at the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw; Milo\u0161 \u0158ezn\u00edk, directorofthe<\/p>\n

Deutsches Historisches Institut, Warsaw; Dr. Katarzyna J\u0119draszczyk, lecturer in History at the Institute of European Culture, Adam Mickiewicz University, Pozna\u0144; and Rafal Witkowski, vice-rector of Adam Mickiewicz University.<\/p>\n

The Polish educators noted the growing interest in the country in the study of Ukrainian history, particularly Ukrainian-Jewish Studies. In recent times this interest has risen steadily.<\/p>\n

UJE books were presented to the libraries of the above-mentioned universities as well as to the library of the international interdisciplinary school \"Cross disciplines: How to Study in an Interdisciplinary framework<\/a>\", which took place in a palace complex near Poznan.<\/p>\n
