The volume deals with the issue of Ukrainian-Jewish relations and its historical legacy in the context of a Russian invasion of Ukraine. It charts the events that took place in Ukraine after the 2013-2014 Euromaidan Revolution and focuses on the place of Ukrainian Jewry within a quickly developing Ukrainian political nation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adrian Karatnycky<\/strong>, formerly the president of Freedom House, is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and a Board Member and Co-Director of the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter, a Canadian charitable nonprofit organization. He is a contributor to\u00a0<em>Foreign Affairs<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Newsweek<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Washington Post<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em>, the\u00a0<em>Financial Times<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Foreign Policy<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The New York Times<\/em>, and many other periodicals. He is author of the forthcoming book\u00a0<em>Battleground Ukraine: From Independence to the War with Russia.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vladislav Davidzon<\/strong>\u00a0is the European culture correspondent at Tablet, a fellow at the Atlantic Council\u2019s Eurasia Center, and the author of\u00a0<em>From Odessa With Love: Political and Literary Essays in Post-Soviet Ukraine<\/em>. He was the founder and Chief Editor of\u00a0<em>The Odessa Review<\/em>. He is a contributor to<em>\u00a0Foreign Policy Magazine<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0<em>Opinion Section<\/em>\u00a0of the\u00a0<em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>.
