Josef Zissels to hold public meetings in Toronto, Ottawa, Canada
Josef Zissels, World Jewish Congress Vice-President and Chairman, Vaad of Ukraine, will hold public meetings with members of Canada’s Ukrainian- and Russian-speaking communities in Toronto and Ottawa. Mr. Zissels will discuss developments over the past few years in Ukraine between the ethnic Ukrainian and Ukrainian Jewish communities, the current situation in Ukraine and future directions.
The following is the schedule of Mr. Zissels’ events:
March 1, Toronto: 11 a.m., Toronto Public Library at the North York Centre, 5120 Younge Street
March 3, Ottawa: 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., Ukrainian Cultural Centre, 911 Carling Avenue
March 4, Toronto: 6:30 p.m., Trident Banquet Hall, 145 Evans Ave (off Islington, just south of the QEW).
