Magocsi speaks about Ukrainian statehood and identity at Jerusalem’s Hebrew University

Prof. Paul Robert Magocsi's talk "Jews and Ukrainians: A Millennium of Co-Existence, as seen through the war" took place at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem on 9 June 2022.

During the presentation, Prof. Magocsi focused his attention on Ukrainian statehood, Ukrainian identity, and the Ukrainian-Jewish relationship. The Chair for the event was Prof. Eli Lederhendler, and Dr. Samuel Barnai was the Discussant, both of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The event was hosted by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Leonid Nevzlin Research Center for Russian and Eastern European Jewry, and the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter.
