Missile strike near Lviv synagogue: How Putin continues Hitler's work
The morning explosion of a Russian missile in the center of Lviv on Brativ Mikhnovskykh Street (photo left) on 4 September destroyed the window frames of the Beis Aharon V'Yisrael Synagogue located on this street. The missile exploded in a residential area one hundred meters from the synagogue with amazing frescoes (photo right).
The apartment of Rabbi Mordechai Shlomo Bold is located seventy meters from the site of the explosion. All the glass in the windows of the rabbi's house is shattered. In the destroyed drugstore (photo left) Rabbi Bold bought medicine for his children.
Fortunately, the rabbi's family was at his son's bar mitzvah in Israel, and Rabbi Bold himself urgently flew to New York to visit his seriously ill father in the hospital.
Rabbi Mordechai told me on the phone that if they had been in the apartment at the time of the explosion, the children could have been injured by shards of glass.
There are no military facilities in the vicinity. The Nazis did not have time to destroy this synagogue, turning it into a stable. Now, the army of Putin, the famous "denazifier", continues Hitler's work.
This is simply missile terror for the sake of terror, senseless and merciless, like much in the criminal system of Putin's Russia.
And the world is silent.
