UJE condemns the rocket attack on Babyn Yar in Kyiv

Babyn Yar is a central symbol of the Holocaust, the largest mass grave in Europe, where lie the remains of Kyiv’s Jews, murdered over 24 hours on 29-30 September 1941. On 1 March 2022, dictator Vladimir Putin’s Russian missiles were unleashed on this sacred site. The Ukrainian Jewish Encounter condemns this desecration, another indecent violation of humanity’s norms and values that are occurring at the hands of Russia through Ukraine. We #Stand With Ukraine.
