Ukraine: Thinking Together
This initiative by Timothy Snyder and Leon Wieseltier features a distinguished group of artists, intellectuals, and writers who will come to Kyiv to participate in a broad public discussion with their Ukrainian counterparts at this critical moment about the meaning of Ukrainian pluralism for the future of Europe, Russia, and the world. International guests include Timothy Garton Ash, Paul Berman, Slavenka Drakulic, Francois Heisbourg, Agnieska Holland, Bernard Kouchner, Bernard-Henri Levy, Adam Michnik, and Slawomir Sierakowski among many others and discussions will take place in English, French, German, Russian, Polish, and Ukrainian.
UJE is a cooperating organization providing significant staff support for the event as well as serving as the major funder. The conference is open to the press, civic leaders, academics, and students.
