A Presentation of “Jews and Ukrainians: A Millennium of Co-Existence” in New York City

jews-and-ukrainians-a-millennium-of-co-existence-in-new-york-cityDr. Yohanan Petrovsky-Shtern, The Crown Family Professor of Jewish Studies at Northwestern University, will talk about the significance of the ground-breaking book “Jews and Ukrainians: A Millennium of Co-Existence” and present a lecture on what Ukrainians and Jews know and do not know about one another.

“Jews and Ukrainians: A Millennium of Co-Existence” is co-authored by Professor Petrovsky-Shtern and Professor Paul Robert Magocsi (University of Toronto) and is published by University of Toronto Press. The presentation is co-sponsored by the Ukrainian Institute of America and Ukrainian Jewish Encounter.

A book signing and reception will follow the presentation.
